Each figurative\, architectural\, and landscape painting captures a specific time\, place\, and feeling effortlessly. His new work\, rich in saturated color\, massages the eye into a feeling of depth.\n\n\n\nRobert Bolster renders New England scenes with incredible precision and economy\, while still conveying a sense of time and movement. In recent work\, Bolster has experimented with subtle grid systems and subdued color palettes inspired by the renowned marine painter\, Winslow Homer.
