DESCRIPTION:The City of Newburyport Parks Department and Newburyport Livable Streets are joining together to bring you Open Streets 2019 on Sunday\, June 23\, 2019.  This event will take place in Newburyport's South End inviting pedestrian\, bicycle and other non-motorized use of the city's streets. \n\n \n\nFrom Atwood Park to Perkins Park activities will take place at various locations along the route\, including the Brown School Playground\, Emma Andrews Library\, the People's United Methodist Church and the Clipper City Rail Trail.\n\n \n\nThe event will be similar to an Open Street event that took place in 2016 in the North End neighborhood of the city.  Through-travel for motor vehicles will not be allowed on the route\, however\, residents will be able to travel to and from their homes.
