SUMMARY:OPEN HOUSE for TUBA (The Unity Business Alliance) at Unity on the River
DESCRIPTION:OPEN HOUSE! \n\nCome join us at our first open house at Unity on the River! \n\nWed. Oct. 12 at 7am\n\nRefreshments provided\n\n \n\nThe Unity Business Alliance (TUBA) is a weekly spiritual networking meeting where attendees can present their business\, network with others\, learn how they can apply spiritual principles to what they do\, and produce videos that they can use for promotion.\n\nMission- The mission of TUBA is to provide fertile ground for business owners in the Unity on the River spiritual community to joyously co-create spiritual and financial prosperity in their businesses.\n\nVision- A well attended\, weekly meeting where multiple referrals are passed and participation brings measurable financial progress among truth seeking business owners.\n\nMeeting Structure- TUBA meetings are held in the Transformation Room at Unity on the River (UOTR) each Wednesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30am. The meeting begins with prayer\, meditation and then general announcements. All members and guests then have an opportunity to spend one minute each introducing their business with an emphasis on how other members can assist them with referrals and support. Then\, one member each week has the opportunity to give a more detailed\, 10 minute presentation on their business. This presentation can include handouts\, video or any other creative way to let members know and remember their business. This is followed by a weekly educational presentation on "Spirit in Business." This can include presentations by members or outside speakers. It can also be a multi-week book study or video series. The key is that the theme of the presentation is how to grow personally and professionally by employing spiritual success principles in our businesses and daily life. The meeting ends with a round of gratitudes\, with each member stating something they are grateful for. This can include reports on business acquired as a result in membership in TUBA.\n\nThere is no membership fee or attendance requirement to be a member of TUBA. However\, it will be emphasized at every week\, that in order to get results from TUBA\, regular attendance\, preferably every week\, is required. There will be a donation basket passed at each meeting to cover overhead. \n\nGuests will be able to attend two TUBA meetings before being asked to sign a membership agreement. The agreement will state that each member will attend meetings on a regular basis. And they will commit to contributing 10% of the net earnings they gain as a result of membership in TUBA to Unity on the River. This 10% tithe will be paid not less than monthly\, at the TUBA weekly meeting.\n\nFor more information about TUBA\, contact Peter Stringham at the church office (978-834-7830) or email him at peter@unityontheriver.org.
