DESCRIPTION:Grab a blanket\, chairs\, and bring your friends for a FREE evening of live music in downtown Newburyport's Waterfront Park. Located behind the Firehouse Center for the Arts and Sea Level Oyster Bar\, Waterfront Park will be host to this outdoor concert featuring the 215th Army Band of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Enjoy an evening outdoors listening to jazz\, patriotic\, rock\, and more!\n\n\n\nFor more than 60 years\, the band has performed throughout New England and the world\, bringing the Army's fine musical traditions and goodwill to thousands of listeners. Formed in Boston in 1950 with only 14 members\, the band moved to Fall River in 1974. Primarily\, the band performs across the state in concerts\, parades\, and state functions. \n\n\n\nThank you to our event sponsors 1st Lt. Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund and The New Seabrook Park for bringing this wonderful group to Newburyport!
