DESCRIPTION:NEWBURYPORT\, THEN AND NOW\n\n                                                                                                                           \n\nThe Newburyport Lions Club is sponsoring Newburyport's native historian Ghlee\n\nWoodworth and her presentation of Newburyport "THEN and NOW" at the\n\nNewburyport Public Library`s program room on Wednesday\, February 7th at\n\n7:00PM. This impressive slide show will demonstrate the amazing transformation\n\n\n\nNewburyport experienced in the 1970`s and 80`s\, coincidentally the same timeframe in which the Newburyport Lions Club was founded.\n\n \n\nOver the past 40 years while Newburyport was changing its physical\n\nappearance\, the NBPT Lions Club was instrumental in adding to the quality of life.   \n\n\n\nWith the Lions' commitment to helping those less fortunate\, their pride in\n\nNewburyport\, their zeal for giving back and supporting local charities\, they have\n\n played a key role in helping make the community a better place to live in and\n\nraise a family.  Additionally\, Lions Club members have achieved personal\n\ngrowth\, made new friends\, and have had fun while working towards the Club's\n\nmain goal to provide vision for all.\n\n \n\n Join us on February 7th for an enjoyable and informative evening program.
