DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Winter Concert \n\nA Celebration of Unity: Holiday Music from Around the World \n\nUnder the direction of Music Director Minji Kim\, the Newburyport Choral Society will perform a selection of delightful holiday music from various cultures and countries from around the world. \n\n\n\nThis festive program will also feature a performance by the Greater Newburyport Children's Chorus\, as well as small chamber orchestra ensemble including piano\, harp and percussion instruments. Choral selections include a Spanish lullaby\, a Moroccan Chanukah composition\, an African Kwanzaa song of celebration\, a Filipino Christmas carol and the well-known Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten. We will celebrate the joy in being together as a community and honor many unique cultural identities of our shared humanity. Please join us!
