DESCRIPTION:The Newburyport Art Association (NAA) is thrilled to announce our\n\nupcoming show\, Works on Paper: Paper Works!\, will be opening Friday\, July 5th.\n\nCelebrating the versatility of one of the most time-honored vehicles of artistic expression\,\n\nPaper Works features a diverse array of works on paper\, made of paper or about paper.\n\nBoasting collage\, watercolor painting\, printmaking\, photography and more\, this eclectic\n\nshow promises to offer something for all artistic tastes.\n\nArtwork by the 104 participating artists will be displayed in our Sargent\, Hills and Hartson\n\ngalleries\, all available for purchase. An artists' reception will be held free and open to the\n\npublic on July 6th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Newburyport Art. We invite you to share in\n\napplauding the achievements and immense talent of our local arts community.\n\nAs part of the Paper Works show\, the NAA is pleased to host work submitted by members\n\nof our Watercolor Featured Interest Group as part of a special "Watercolor Explorations"\n\nhighlight. The Watercolor Interest Group is a community of artists\, ranging from\n\nprofessional to beginner\, who share a passion for watercolor and desire to learn\, paint\n\nand exhibit together. The featured watercolorists for Paper Works are Muriel Angelil\, Lisa\n\nArcomano\, Liz Bell\, Christine Bobek\, Katie Cornog\, George Darcy\, Karen S. Fitzgerald\,\n\nDoug Fyffe\, Betsy Lewis\, Marjorie McLaughlin\, Peggy Poppe\, Nancy Powers\, Mary\n\nRemillong\, Christine Sanford and Veronica Wolfe.\n\nThe galleries are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from\n\n11:00am 5:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm 5:00pm.
