DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) is celebrating the younger generation of artists with The Youth Art Show! This exhibit\, generously sponsored by The Prince Fund\, features 60 pieces by artists in grades K-12 from schools and art programs across the region!\n \n\nA reception & awards presentation will be held on the last day of the exhibition\, Saturday\, April 25th\, from 3:00pm-4:00pm. The reception is free and open to the public\, with light refreshments being served.\n \n\nCoinciding with Youth Art is the OpArt Exhibition in the Sargent Gallery\, and Watercolor Interest Group in the Hills Gallery\, both on the first-floor. All three shows are ending April 25th\, while the Spring Gift Shop is through May 30th\, offering a diverse variety of art\, all priced under $200.\n \n\nLastly\, Newburyport Art is hosting a Speakeasy themed fundraiser\, The Cat's Pajamas\, on Friday\, April 24th. All proceeds from the evening will support the launch of the Newburyport Art Association Youth Arts Council\, a new initiative emerging from the NAA's 2026 2029 Strategic Plan.\n \n\nNew Hours: Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00am 5:00pm. The gallery is handicap accessible. More information\, as well as an online gallery is available at newburyportart.org.\n \n\nFounded in 1948\, Newburyport Art is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting members' work and to providing art education and access to the visual arts for the entire community.
