SUMMARY:Newburyport Art presents Coming Home: A Celebration of Creative Roots
DESCRIPTION:Newburyport Art (NAA) is proud to announce Coming Home: A Celebration of Creative Roots\, a multi-disciplinary exhibit that highlights artists who grew up in the Newburyport area\, and artists who moved to the area as adults   to share how the city influenced their creative practice. This is the second year that Newburyport Art has held this exhibit. Coming Home is curated by Artist and Executive Director\, Belle Carver Struck.\n \n\nThis exhibit features over 80 works by artists who have a connection to the Newburyport area. Artwork includes oil painting\, acrylic\, pastel\, watercolor\, mixed media\, collage and pastel. Coming Home will be on view from Wednesday\, August 22nd - Saturday\, August 22nd\, with a free\, opening reception on Sunday\, July 26th from 4-6pm.\n\nAdditionally\, Newburyport Art will hold a ticketed panel discussion on Monday\, July 27th from 6-8pm\, moderated by local storyteller\, actor and educator Paul Wann. The panelists are AJ Smith\, Ariele Ebacher\, Dylan Metrano\, Julie Pike Edmond\, and Isabella Schwind. Tickets are available now\, $45 for Newburyport Art Members\, and $60 for non-members. Proceeds go to benefit the Newburyport Art Annual Fund.
