DESCRIPTION:Painting with Enamels on Glass\n\nSaturday\, October 1st\, 2022 (1:00pm-3:00pm)\n\nHave some fun creating a painting and experimenting with Color Line enamels on glass. To add depth to the image\, the foreground and background will be separated on two sheets of 4" x 6" glass. The layers will be fused and the finished painting will be returned to you the following week. Come to the class with ideas or images that you can experiment with. A short supply list will be sent upon registration.\n\nIn this session\, glass artist Bonnie House will discuss enamel paints\, fused glass painting\, and various materials used by fused glass artists. She will give a short demonstration to get the class started and allow plenty of time for participants to create their paintings.\n\nBonnie House has been kiln forming glass for more than twenty years. She is known for her kiln fomed layered glass powder paintings and functional pieces which are available in West Newton\, Petersham\, and the Newburyport Art Association.\n\nThere is no experience necessary\, and all materials will be supplied!\n\nCost: $35 NAA members\; $45 non-members\; 10% discount for Seniors (65+)\n\nThe workshop will take place in the Hartson Gallery at the Newburyport Art Association\, 65 Water St\, Newburyport\, MA 01950. Please note the Hartson Gallery is on the second floor of the building and is accessible only by stairs.
