DESCRIPTION:The Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse opens the fall season on Saturday with another great night of music! Jon Waterman writes and performs a down-to-earth blend of blues\, roots rock\, and old time jazz. Jon's performance aims to tell stories\, convey images and emotions and entertain. He succeeds in all of these and we look forward to his return to our stage.\n\nThe folk duo of Simons and Goodwin completes the evening. Their intricate arrangements and tight harmonies show off their skill and musicianship. Bob's finger style guitar work and his vocals\, paired with Renee's\, create a delightful evening filled with original songs\, some old country and blues\, and a bit of jazz.\n\n\n\nThe Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse is hosted by the Byfield Community Arts Center\, 7 Central Street\, Byfield\, offers a casual\, caf  style setting and brings established\, as well as up and coming\, talent to the stage.  Doors open at 7:30 and music begins at 8:00. Admission is $5.00 at the door.
