Throughout our Kinderhaus and multi-age classrooms\, we provide a rigorous academic program based on the Montessori philosophy\, aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks\, and rooted in the history\, culture\, and ecology of the Merrimack River Valley. We are committed to offering authentic experiences and reflective practices\, which guide our students to better understand themselves as learners and motivate them as engaged citizens. Students graduate adept at critical thinking and creative problem solving and prepared to succeed in future schools\, careers\, and civic life.\n\n\n\nRiver Valley Charter School is a proud member of the Greater Newburyport community. By offering our communities' families the choice of a public Montessori education\, including a free full-time kindergarten program\, we believe that we are adding great value to this already outstanding community.
