DESCRIPTION:Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area (GISA)\, a program of the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center\, announces that they will hold a three day Science\, Technology\, Engineering & Math (STEM) Workshop over February vacation for fifth and sixth grade girls.\n\n \n\nSTEM programming is a fun\, informative and hands-on way for young girls to become involved in science\, technology\, engineering\, and math. STEM creates a supportive\, experiential\, all-girl environment that encourages girls to join the fun of discovering the world around them. This foundation paves the way for girls to pursue an education or career in STEM related fields\, an area that many would otherwise never consider. \n\n\n\nIn order to participate\, all girls must pre-register and send completed registration and permission slips to: Sabra Dow\, Program Director\, Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area 2 Harris St.\, Newburyport MA 01950.
