DESCRIPTION:2019 is the sixth year of our successful story slam program. In 2019\, The Actors Studio of Newburyport hosted four story slams\, all at the Studio's black box theatre. Tonight's Super Story Slam is the year's finale in which we invite all of our 2019 Full Moon Story Slam winners to tell us one more tale   this time a longer story focused around the theme   Destiny.\n\nThe Story Slam is our chance to gather friends and share true stories from our lives. Simply put\, a story slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling. It puts a dual emphasis on content and performance\, encouraging storytellers to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it. It is an exercise in crafting stories within a set time limit and it is great entertainment! Story slammers sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute short story on the evening's theme. There are opportunities for one-minute stories too!\n\nThe three criteria for the judges:\n\n1.) The story has an arc: a beginning\, a point of change\, and a resolution.\n\n2.) Presentation of the story.\n\n3.) Time (no longer than five minutes) and connection to the them
