DESCRIPTION:A good opportunity to learn about the Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge will be on March 21st when the public is invited to the annual meeting of the Friends group. The Friends are looking for new members\, both general and officers\, who would like to become actively involved in the group. The meeting will take place at noon on Saturday at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge headquarters\, 6 Plum Island Turnpike\, Newburyport\, MA.\n\n\n \n\nPlease come and meet Bill Peterson\, the new Refuge manager\, who will be the keynote speaker. Bill will speak on future management plans and his vision for the refuge. The Friends business meeting will follow at about 1:15. Come check out the Friends new reading room where refreshments will be provided.
