DESCRIPTION:Free\, Zen meditation instruction is offered Monday nights at the First Religious Society\, 26 Pleasant Street\, Newburyport.  The practice sessions meet in the lower meetinghouse from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  For first time participants\, the 6pm orientation session is recommended.  The instructor is Joyce Haydock\, Dharma Teacher with the Kwan Um School of Zen (KUSZ) for more than 22 years.  \n\n \n\nZen is a way of living\, a way to perceive one's life with a clear mind and to better understand your true Self.  Over time\, with support\, one works to attain a clear compassionate mind which\, moment to moment\, is able to help all beings.
