DESCRIPTION:NBPT Lions and NBPT City Councilors join to address local food insecurity.\n\nNBPT Lions put out a call to action to NBPT City Councilors to come together to help\n\nmeet the challenges of local food insecurity. The call was heeded\, and several councilors\n\nwill join to collect while engaging with their local constituents.\n\nLions\, Councilors\, and Friends will be in the tent this Saturday to help address a problem\n\nthat has continued growing even in our community.\n\nDue to a combination of supply chain and labor problems\, the Greater Boston Food Bank\n\nhas been forced to cut the amount of food available to all member agencies. This has left\n\nthe First Parish Newbury Food Pantry scrambling to fill its shelves so they can continue\n\nto fulfill the needs of members of our greater community.
