Have you considered how to make your organization more welcoming and inclusive but don?t know where to start? Do you value diversity and not know how to incorporate more of it into your workforce? Are you curious why more businesses are starting to incorporate these principals into their organization?
\n\nJoin us for an open and honest discussion about DEIB in the workplace. We will review why DEIB is important\, how you can get started\, and what it looks like to be a leader and an ally. We will answer questions and have an open discussion about challenges that may arise and what we can do to overcome them. \; \;
\n\nYou will hear from Tina Los\, the DEI Coordinator for the City of Newburyport and Sandhya Douglas\, a Partner and Senior Managing Director\, Strategic Analysis\, and Implementation for Wellington Management Company. Sandhya has experience rolling out DEI initiatives in the corporate and non-profit spheres and is a member of \;Newburyport?s Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion Alliance. \;
\n\nWe will be discussing highlights from the DEI Guide\, created by the Massachusetts Municipal DEI Coalition. You can review the guide here ahead of time\, but it is not required to participate in the conversation.
