DESCRIPTION:The Walsingham Gallery will hold its third Women of Walsingham fundraiser to benefit Anna Jaques Hospital on Saturday\, November 9th from 6 to 8 pm. This year's event\, Cava and Curves\, will include an exhibition of paintings and sculpture depicting the female figure from four celebrated female artists\, live performances of Flamenco dancing and Spanish guitar\, as well as tapas\, cava\, and other refreshments. The featured artists sculptor Aiko Morioka and painters Liz Gribin\, Lisa Noonis\, and Sheryl Daane Chesnut - all depict the female figure in their work\, but each with her own interpretation and approach. A percentage of the proceeds from the event will benefit women's wellness programming at the hospital.\n\n\n\n"We are grateful to the Walsingham Gallery for their commitment to the hospital\, and their belief that philanthropic support of our mission is important\," said Sarah Gnerre\, director of development for the hospital. "This is a luxurious way in which to spend an evening in support of Anna Jaques."\n\n\n\nA private champagne reception will be held from 5 to 6 pm. Tickets at the patron level will allow attendees to meet the artists\, preview the show\, and view the never before seen works of art.\n\n\n\nPatron level admission is $125 and includes admission to the private champagne reception with the artists and a copy of the exhibition book. General admission to the show at 6 pm is $50. Tickets are available at www.AJH.org.
