SUMMARY:Cultural Heritage Tourism Assessment Planning Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join other businesses and cultural institutions who contribute to the character and cultural life of Greater Newburyport in a dynamic informational session about the Greater Newburyport Area Cultural Heritage Assessment Project (GNACHA). Discover how cultural tourists benefit the community in ways that typical tourists do not. Cultural tourists spend more money and more time at their destination and are more likely to make a lasting and significant connection with their host community. This means healthier businesses\, more support for local non-profits\, and more tax revenue to benefit all. All are welcome to participate. Your input will help us brand the Newburyport area\, put together a cohesive and comprehensive marketing program and pursue grant money. “The Greater Newburyport Area Cultural Heritage Assessment Project” (GNACHA) is a collaboration of The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry\, The Newburyport Preservation Trust and Historic New England.RSVP: aormond@newburyportchamber.org
