DESCRIPTION:Lenny Solomon returns to the Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse on December 12. One of our favorite "folkies" this singer/songwriter/guitarist began his career in Harvard Square in the prime time of folk music\, the 1960's. After taking some time off to pursue a serious life\, Lenny returned to the folk scene in 1997 performing his original works in a folk/country style reminiscent of the early music of Bob Dylan and Jerry Jeff Walker.\n\n\n\nMarina Evans\, twice nominated for Female Performer of the Year at the New England Music Awards\, combines a strong stage presence with sultry vocals that travel easily from traditional folk Americana to straight-up rock and roll. Marina is a passionate and versatile artist whose songs and spirit are not to be missed.\n\n\n\nThe Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse is hosted by the Byfield Community Arts Center\, 7 Central Street\, Byfield\, MA. Doors open at 7:30\, music starts at 8:00 and admission is $10.00 at the door.
