DESCRIPTION:Awards are to recognize those in our community\; young people\, adults and organizations that support building youth assets and help develop healthy youth.\n\n\n\n  Caring Neighborhood: Is there someone in your neighborhood who demonstrates kindness and caring to young people? Someone who lends a hand when needed or who is always there when someone needs help? Tell us about them!\n\n  School Engagement: Do you know of an individual or organization that is helping to engage students in a creative way at one of Newburyport's schools? If so\, nominate them now!\n\n  Positive View of Personal Future: We would like to recognize an organization that helps to build a positive view of oneself in the future in young people. This can also be awarded to a young person who displays a positive view of their own future that effects his/her today!\n\n  Positive Family Communication: Do you know a family in the community who has impressed you with their positive relationship\, communication style and willingness to be open and truthful with each other? Tell us who they are and what makes them so special!\n\n  Equality and Social Justice: This award will recognize a young person who has demonstrated character and conviction in their everyday life. This nominee will be someone who is passionate about social justice and equality and is willing to take a stand to promote equality.
