DESCRIPTION:The Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is thrilled to announce our 33rd Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence. Walk with us as we advocate for change and raise awareness of domestic violence.\n\n\n\nEach year\, community members gather at Newburyport's Waterfront Park to walk a scenic 3-mile route in honor of victims and survivors of domestic violence. We also gather in celebration of the hope and healing found by survivors through our collective support.\n\n\n\nOur annual Walk Against Domestic Violence is one of the Center's largest fundraisers of the year. Proceeds from this event allow us to provide free and confidential programs and services to 16 local communities.\n\n\n\nThese services include:\n\n	24-Hour Emergency Hotline\n	Crisis Counseling for Adults and Children\n	Advocacy and Safety Planning\n	Court Advocacy\n	Legal Representation\n	Housing Assistance\n	Art Therapy\n\nNEW TIME THIS YEAR! Registration will open at 9:00 a.m.\, and the Walk will step off at 10:00 a.m.
