The films are in a variety of genres from both youth and adult filmmakers.\n\nAbout Earth Port Film Festival:\n\nInspired by a desire to highlight and raise awareness of both pressing environmental issues and the important role of community media\, Newburyport Community Media Hub (formerly PortMedia) and Transition Newburyport founded the festival in 2012. The film festival aims to demonstrate the power of film to communicate about important issues. Proceeds from the Earth Port Film Festival are used to support the training and skill development of Newburyport youth and adults in the art of communicating via film and television. \n\n\n\nProduced by Newburyport Community Media Hub and Transition Newburyport\n\nSponsored by Merrohawke Nature School
