Novel Ideas: NPL's fiction book group for adults is now meeting on the second Thursday of the month at 7pm. The next meeting is September 14, 2017, and we are reading The Wonder by Emma Donoghue.  The book choices for the three months following are: 

October 12th: The Last Painting of Sara De Vos by Dominic Smith
November 9th: Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney
December 14th: Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley

Join us for our Adult Craft Night!  Our next meeting is September 18th at 6pm, and we will be making felt rose pins. Registration is required, and the classes will be limited. Join author Rick Beyer as he discusses his book "Rivals Unto Death: Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr."  Rivals Unto Death explores the largely unknown three-decade dance that led to the infamous duel between Hamilton and Burr. It traces the rivalry back to the earliest days of the American Revolution.

Join Jennifer Hofmann of Jennifer Soaps for a demonstration of how to make your own cold pressed soap! The class will include handouts for participants which will include all of the information you need to make your own soap, as well as soap samples for each participant. Registration is required and will begin September 1st.
