Chair Yoga & Tai Chi Easy
Spring 2017 March 23- May 25th - 10 weeks

Enjoy yoga/tai chi - breathe deeply and reduce stress! Simple breath exercises
combined with healing movements /self massage help to improve immunity, digestion,
sleep patterns and relax our whole nervous system. All 12 organ systems are supported
by the practice- preventative medicine to help keep us healthy and well! Gentle on the
joints, very relaxing and rejuvenating -done sitting in a chair or standing and walking if
you are able. Refreshment for body,mind,soul and spirit.

Facilitated by Carla Mattioli, M.A. Artist ,art therapist, yoga & tai chi practitioner
has benefited from the study of many styles of yoga, dance, tai chi (Chinese yoga) Alexander technique and mindfulness meditation with Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Teaching yoga now for over 15 years, Carla is certified in Yoga Instruction in the ViniYoga style which values adapting yoga to the individual needs of each student. Carla has also certified in Tai Chi Easy and Level 1 QiGong through the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi which can bedone from a chair or moving in space. She has taught gentle chair yoga and tai chi in numerous retirement and
assisted living communities across the North Shore.

Time: Thursdays 2-3 p.m. Cost: $150 for 10 weeks.
