150 TREES, 75,000 LIGHTS, 1,800 SQ. FT. SKATING RINK, STAGE PERFORMANCES,
ONE GIANT GINGERBREAD BEACH CASTLE AND A JOLLY MR. CLAUS

Proceeds to benefit the Salisbury Beach Partnership’s Fund to Bring Back Historical Carousel
Friday, November 17 – Sunday, December 3
(Salisbury, MA)  The 5th annual Sea Festival of Trees lights up the seacoast with 15 days of Christmas beginning Friday, November 17th.  Held at the spacious Blue Ocean Event Center located directly on the ocean at Salisbury Beach, Massachusetts, the annual holiday fundraiser offers two floors of family holiday fun and will be open to the public Saturday, November 18 through Sunday, December 3, with a Spirits of Christmas Gala kick-off on Friday evening, November 17.

Presented by Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, Sea Festival of Trees proceeds will support the Salisbury Beach Partnership’s fund to bring back the historic Looff 1890s Carousel, known to visitors as The Broadway Flying Horses that delighted generations of families between 1914 and 1977.  The rare three-row, original Coney Island, New York treasure, is now a fully restored museum-quality carousel with some 47 hand carved horses, dogs, goats and chariots.

“The Sea Festival of Trees is a fun holiday tradition for seacoast families that will support returning a piece of history to the beach center and restoring a favorite summer tradition for generations of families to come,” said Wayne Capolupo, president of the Salisbury Beach Partnership, the non-profit organization that is leading the campaign in partnership with the Town of Salisbury to bring the historic carousel back to its original home.

In 2016, the event yielded $85,000 in donations.

REGIONAL BUSINESSES AND FAMILIES DONATE 150 DECORATED TREES
