Job Description
An opportunity exists to get in on the ground floor of an expanding Canadian company new to the US market. The salesperson is responsible for pursuing new sales opportunities and by effectively establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client base. She/he is responsible for training and working with our clients to close sales opportunities and developing effective relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients and promote all products in assigned geographic territory by using exceptional selling skills
  • Continually promote Wisent Bioproducts breadth of product offerings on all sales calls to achieve maximum client solution opportunities
  • Develop detailed business plans for each key account in order to achieve annualized growth
  • Participate as a team member in all assigned corporate and focus account initiatives
  • Daily update company reports of projected appointments, orders, etc., to assist in monthly company sales forecasting and product build plans.
  • Aggressively pursue new laboratory selling opportunities.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or MSc degree from an accredited higher learning institution, with emphasis in the Life Sciences preferred, or laboratory cell culture experience required. No sales experience required.
  • Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with bias for action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities
  • Substantiated capability to effectively negotiate and close business.
  • Outstanding follow up and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel and visit customers to accomplish assigned goals.
