Job Description
Job Title:         Service Dispatcher / Operations Support                    FLSA Status: Non Exempt
                                                                                                            Location:         Newburyport
 
Position Overview

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for planning and coordinating the daily activities of TCA Solutions. This includes communicating with the service manager and customers to coordinate schedules, weekly invoicing and overall operational flow of the company.  Must be detail and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills.  
 
Essential Job Functions
  • Back up for parts department when necessary.
  • Coordinates and dispatches all service technicians.
  • Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.
  • Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responds to special requests.
  • Interacts and communicates with sales staff, technician and managers to assign and dispatch technicians.
  • Reviews project paperwork, completes calls, and forwards project paperwork to project administrators.
  • Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
  • Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements
  • 3 years working in service support  or dispatching environment
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus
