Kitchen and Food Prep

Mill River Winery
Job Description
(Saturdays,12:30-5:30pm) 
Looking for someone who enjoys working in the kitchen! Prepare and replenish food samples for tasting room, e.g. herb dips, cranberry relish dip, etc. Plate and serve menu items. Prepare food as needed for the weekend, such as cheese and charcuterie plates. Keep kitchen clean throughout the day. Some food preparation experience required. 

 SKILLS NEEDED FOR ABOVE POSITIONS  
  • Must love wine, be a people person, and be enthusiastic! An in-depth knowledge of wine is desirable but not necessary. We will train. 
  • Must be professional in appearance with a positive attitude and willingness     to learn.  
  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills as it relates to managing multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to lift one case of wine (40 lbs.) easily in order to carry cases for customers and move displays.
  • Must have clean criminal record.
  • Company will pay for you to become certified to pour and sell wine.

RATE OF PAY:  commensurate with your experience.
