About the Band

The musicians in Desolation Angels are seasoned veterans of the local music scene North of Boston. They came together in winter of 2021 to try to present the music of Bad Company and Paul Rodgers as authentically as possible. The band is comprised of Rick Reda on vocals, Duffy Bouchard on drums, Eric Hanson on keyboards, Adam Elliott on bass, and Brian Fernald and Kevin Meaney on guitars.

Link House's CATCH offers a summer horsemanship program for kids as part of our outpatient therapy program at Fair Winds Farm in West Newbury. The animal-assisted therapy program promotes self-awareness, physical activity, and social interaction for youth. Sessions will focus on social and emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, New England’s premier oceanfront vocal competition is officially moving to our main stage on the largest deck on the coast—and we’re leveling things up in a big way. Think ocean breezes, VIP cabanas, bigger crowds, and an elevated production designed for unforgettable summer nights by the sea.

We officially kick things off Wednesday, July 22, launching a five-week residency that brings the community together for nights filled with live music, rising local talent, and pure summer energy. Whether you’re one of our regulars cheering from the deck or a performer chasing your big moment, this stage was built for you.

Contestants—stay tuned. Full details on how to enter the 2026 competition will be announced in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see the talent that shows up this season.

Newburyport Art (NAA) is proud to announce Coming Home: A Celebration of Creative Roots, a multi-disciplinary exhibit that highlights artists who grew up in the Newburyport area, and artists who moved to the area as adults – to share how the city influenced their creative practice. This is the second year that Newburyport Art has held this exhibit. Coming Home is curated by Artist and Executive Director, Belle Carver Struck.

This exhibit features over 80 works by artists who have a connection to the Newburyport area. Artwork includes oil painting, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, collage and pastel. Coming Home will be on view from Wednesday, August 22nd - Saturday, August 22nd, with a free, opening reception on Sunday, July 26th from 4-6pm.

Additionally, Newburyport Art will hold a ticketed panel discussion on Monday, July 27th from 6-8pm, moderated by local storyteller, actor and educator Paul Wann. The panelists are AJ Smith, Ariele Ebacher, Dylan Metrano, Julie Pike Edmond, and Isabella Schwind. Tickets are available now, $45 for Newburyport Art Members, and $60 for non-members. BulletBoys: The Original Lineup Returns, Ready for a Smooth New Chapter
Formed from the heart of the late ’80s Sunset Strip scene, BulletBoys quickly established themselves as a dynamic force in hard rock, delivering a blues-infused sound that set them apart from the pure glam metal pack. Now, after years of separate paths and various iterations, the gold-selling band is back with the lineup that started it all: Marq Torien, Mick Sweda, Lonnie Vencent, and Jimmy D’Anda. The band’s 1988 self-titled debut, featuring the massive hits “Smooth Up in Ya” and the O’Jays cover “For the Love of Money,” was a critical and commercial success. Albums like 1991’s Freakshow followed, showcasing their sophisticated blend of hard rock grit and undeniable groove. Their videos topped the charts on MTV and still get millions of views on YouTube today.

Meet the Original BulletBoys:
The chemistry of this core four is what defined the band’s signature sound. Here’s a look at the musicians who put the smooth in BulletBoys:
• Marq Torien (Vocals): Iconic vocalist Marq Torien, with infectious hooks and electrifying stage presence, is the charismatic frontman who delivers powerhouse vocals and stage show that never disappoints.
• Mick Sweda (Guitar): Mick Sweda is the architect of the band’s rich, bluesy hard rock sound. His songwriting chops and masterful, guitar work provided the musical foundation that separated BulletBoys from their peers.
• Lonnie Vencent (Bass): Lonnie Vencent delivers the unmistakable low-end pulse that anchors the BulletBoys’ sound, locking the whole machine into the groove only he can create.
• Jimmy D’Anda (Drums): The engine room of the original band, D’Anda’s swagger and bombastic, yet tasteful, drumming provided the necessary
drive and punch. His powerful drumming style is an essential component of the classic BulletBoys groove.

Acknowledging the Past: Why This Time is Different
To the devoted fans who have witnessed previous attempts at a full original lineup reunion that ultimately faltered, the skepticism is understandable. The path of the BulletBoys has been marked by internal conflicts and short-lived collaborations over the past three decades. However, the members insist this return is different. Driven by a mutual desire to close an unfinished chapter and a renewed, mature understanding of their shared history, the reunion is founded on a cleared slate and a collective commitment to the music.

This reunion isn’t about simply revisiting the past; it’s about channeling their classic energy with the wisdom and experience gained from their individual journeys. The reformed BulletBoys are ready to prove that sometimes, the best way forward is to smooth things up for good. Link House's CATCH offers a summer horsemanship program for kids as part of our outpatient therapy program at Fair Winds Farm in West Newbury. The animal-assisted therapy program promotes self-awareness, physical activity, and social interaction for youth. Sessions will focus on social and emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, New England’s premier oceanfront vocal competition is officially moving to our main stage on the largest deck on the coast—and we’re leveling things up in a big way. Think ocean breezes, VIP cabanas, bigger crowds, and an elevated production designed for unforgettable summer nights by the sea.

We officially kick things off Wednesday, July 22, launching a five-week residency that brings the community together for nights filled with live music, rising local talent, and pure summer energy. Whether you’re one of our regulars cheering from the deck or a performer chasing your big moment, this stage was built for you.

Link House's CATCH offers a summer horsemanship program for kids as part of our outpatient therapy program at Fair Winds Farm in West Newbury. The animal-assisted therapy program promotes self-awareness, physical activity, and social interaction for youth. Sessions will focus on social and emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, New England’s premier oceanfront vocal competition is officially moving to our main stage on the largest deck on the coast—and we’re leveling things up in a big way. Think ocean breezes, VIP cabanas, bigger crowds, and an elevated production designed for unforgettable summer nights by the sea.

We officially kick things off Wednesday, July 22, launching a five-week residency that brings the community together for nights filled with live music, rising local talent, and pure summer energy. Whether you’re one of our regulars cheering from the deck or a performer chasing your big moment, this stage was built for you.

Contestants—stay tuned. Full details on how to enter the 2026 competition will be announced in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see the talent that shows up this season.

About the Band 
Known for their explosive live rock show, A Thousand Horses released their 3rd album, The Outside, in 2024. Newburyport Art (NAA) is proud to announce Coming Home: A Celebration of Creative Roots, a multi-disciplinary exhibit that highlights artists who grew up in the Newburyport area, and artists who moved to the area as adults – to share how the city influenced their creative practice. This is the second year that Newburyport Art has held this exhibit. Coming Home is curated by Artist and Executive Director, Belle Carver Struck.

This exhibit features over 80 works by artists who have a connection to the Newburyport area. Artwork includes oil painting, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, collage and pastel. Coming Home will be on view from Wednesday, August 22nd - Saturday, August 22nd, with a free, opening reception on Sunday, July 26th from 4-6pm.

Additionally, Newburyport Art will hold a ticketed panel discussion on Monday, July 27th from 6-8pm, moderated by local storyteller, actor and educator Paul Wann. The panelists are AJ Smith, Ariele Ebacher, Dylan Metrano, Julie Pike Edmond, and Isabella Schwind. Tickets are available now, $45 for Newburyport Art Members, and $60 for non-members. About Juston McKinney

With multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, two Comedy Central specials, and two Amazon Prime specials, including his latest, Parentally Challenged, it’s no wonder the New York Times called Juston McKinney, “Destined for stardom.”

Join us Monday, August 24th at the Renaissance Country Club in Haverhill, MA for the 37th annual Chamber Golf Classic! Enjoy a day of golfing while taking advantage of great opportunities to network, meet other Chamber members, win tournament prizes, and more. The day starts at 11AM for check-in/registration. Golfers will experience a pre-golf lunch, and access to state-of-the-art practice facilities an hour and a half prior to the start of the outing, including driving range and putting areas, all before teeing off with a traditional shotgun start at 1PM.

About the Band
Third Man High formed in January, 2005 in Salisbury, MA. Performing both original material as well as cover songs, they’re able to combine their passion for all rock genres. By playing well-known classic songs as well as some more obscure selections from many diverse popular bands, the group is able to appeal to a wide range of Rock music fans.

About Traveller
Traveller – The Chris Stapleton Experience is the brainchild of Alec Antobenedetto, The voice of Traveller. He also plays drums for many of the areas most popular bands including the Peacheaters (An Allman Brothers Band Experience), Confounded Bridge (Celebrating the Music of Led Zeppelin), Pieces of Eight, and many more. As Alec says “I just heard his voice and over the years it had become more than obvious I had to do this”, so I called up some music friends and they all jumped in feet first. This is such a fun group to be around. We love this music and playing this music for people and seeing their reaction means everything”.
