About Lynch Mob
Lynch Mob was formed by George Lynch in 1989 after the breakup of Dokken, his long time band of which he was a founding member and main song writer. The band signed with Elektra Records, and immediately released “Wicked Sensation” which would go on to achieve gold status. The album received much critical and fan acclaim, and would pave the way for over a dozen records over the next 30+ years. The band is known for it’s high energy, guitar driven, hard rock vibe, while featuring elements of classic rock, blues, metal, with a propensity for improvisation. The current lineup features Lynch, along side of Jimmy D’Anda, Gabriel Colon, and Jaron Gulino. On drums, O.G. BULLETBOYS drummer Jimmy D’Anda brings the band an old school Dr Funkenstein funky, but heavy back beat. He’s also known for being the pie eating champion of Boyle Heights East Los Angeles 84’. Go Rough Riders! Gabriel Colón is a Puerto Rican singer who started his career with a band called Fast Taker. The band would go on to release a top 10 single in Puerto Rico’s rock radio market. Since arriving in the states, he has showcased his wide range of vocal talent with many rock acts including, Gothic Knights, Culprit, White Wizzard, and Rowan Robertson. New Jersey’s own Jaron Gulino brings the east coast attitude and energy. He has prospered in a long career as the bassist in a variety of bands, most notably post-grunge rock band Tantric. Gulino achieved chart topping success with multiple releases from Tantric, as well as performing on many high profile tours and events with numerous other acts. Lynch Mob plans on celebrating the legacy of an incredible history, with shows consisting of classic, career spanning material, as well as a heavy dose of Dokken material.

The Newburyport Chocolate Tour & Market

A sweet stroll with a purpose. The Chocolate Tour is a community-driven tasting experience through the charming streets of downtown Newburyport — where local shops serve up chocolate delights while you explore, shop, and support amazing causes. About Crosswind
Crosswind The Chris Stapleton Experience is the brainchild of Alec Antobenedetto The voice of Crosswind with his uncanny resemblance on vocals and visuals. This is a show for every Chris Stapleton Fan. Alec also oddly enough plays drums for many of the areas most popular bands including the Peacheaters (An Allman Brothers Band Experience) Confounded Bridge (Celebrating the Music of Led Zeppelin), High Energy Dance Band Pieces of Eight and many more. Many people have asked Alec why this Music? “I just heard his voice and over the years it had become more than obvious I had to do this” he replied. So I called up some music buddies my A list friends if you will, and they all jumped in head first. This is such a fun group to be around and we love this music and playing this music for people, seeing their reaction means everything to us.

About Playing Dead

Playing Dead is a Grateful Dead tribute featuring former members of Dark Star Orchestra, Slipknot!, and Uncle John’s Band. Their marathon sets feature music and jams from the entire Grateful Dead catalog. Playing Dead faithfully recreates the experience of a live Grateful Dead concert. The music of The Grateful Dead is a complex stew of different styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, folk, bluegrass and more. Their improvisational style and large repertoire guaranteed that every musical performance would be unique. The Beautiful Losers – A Tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band

The Beautiful Losers was put together by Last Laugh vocalist, Devin Cordeiro. “I have always wanted to put together the most authentic Seger show but never had the time. Well, I made time for it and as I planned for it all, top on the list was joining together the best musicians that the New England music scene had to offer. I started at the top of the list talent wise and just went for it. The truth is I couldn’t have assembled a more talented, dedicated, and professional group for this project and as a result, it has exceeded all expectations. The All-Star lineup are Carl Ayotte, David Ayotte, Stephen Baker, Nate Comp, Kevin Elder, Bill Plourde, and David Stefanelli. Vocally, musically, sonically, and dynamically this band is as good as it gets. With an endless crop of hits to pick from we will no doubt be the BEST Bob Seger tribute band in the land!”

NHS students in collaboration with the Newburyport non profit, Small Solutions Big Ideas, will be hosting a three hour family field day event on October 24th from 12 to 3pm. It is open to everyone in the community and will feature musicians, interactive art tables, mini children's races and other fun events. This will be accompanied by food from sponsors. Our field day is inspired by student interest to support student athletes in Kenya through Small Solutions Big Ideas, in order to fundraise money for cross country youth athletes in the Bukokholo village, where many of them run barefoot. The entry to the event is completely free to all people within the Newburyport community, but we certainly will appreciate donations. In addition, there will be fundraising opportunities scattered throughout, such as the sales of Kenyan jewelry, and student artworks.
